Jeff Easter founded his construction company in Charlottesville in 1980 as a sole proprietor, Jeff Easter, Contractor. The business was incorporated in 1991 as Hunt Country Construction, Ltd., trading as Jeff Easter Remodeling.

In 2002, Jeff Easter Remodeling was named one of the top 50 remodelers in the United States, as they were inducted into the "Big 50" club of Remodeling Magazine.

Jeff grew up in Charlottesville and Albemarle County. After graduating from Albemarle High School he attended North Carolina State University and graduated with a degree in business. Jeff played defensive end on the football team under Coach Lou Holtz, and played in two Peach Bowl games.

Jeff's father, Clarence Easter, was a general contractor in Albemarle County for 50 years. When Jeff was 10 years old, he started working for his father after school and during the summer, digging footers by hand. He learned construction basics and the hard work of the industry from the ground up. After college graduation, Jeff decided to combine his gift and love of design with his construction knowledge. Residential remodeling often presents unique design challenges, and it is in this area that Jeff specializes.  He is interested and skilled at developing innovative ideas for the improvement of existing homes, and is enthusiastic about working with homeowners to help them realize their goals.
